The Integrated Resource Information System (IRIS) is a Financial reporting system for CDC that supports the fiscal business processes associated with budgeting, staffing, performance and reporting. It is integrated with other business systems such as ICE, IMPAC II and the financial system, UFMS.
HealthImpact.net is the web-based agency-wide application for Health Impact Planning and searchable knowledge tool containing strategy, budget, and procurement information. HealthImpact.net and IRIS applications are integrated to provide the CDC leaders, all the required information to manage complex portfolios of public health activities to achieve CDC’s Health Protection Goals. Milestones and implements CDC’s Strategic Imperatives and executing the Budgets.
Responsibility:
• Worked with the Business Analysis team to capture the requirements, developing the Software Requirement Specification (SRS) document. Created the Business Process models and Fit-Gap analysis documents.

Project : Managing / Accounting Credit Card System (MACCS) (Nov’2002 – Dec’2006)

The Government wide commercial purchase card is the preferred means to purchase and pay for micro-purchases. This unique card is a VISA card and the program is called IMPAC program. MACCS is a Commercial-off-the-self (COTS) product for automating the accounting of the IMPAC program.
Responsibility:
• Analyzed and developed the IMPAC as-Is Process, analyzed the To-Be MACCS System processes interviewing the stakeholders and developed the IMPAC To-Be Process. Modified the model based on each release.
• Compare both the processes and created Fit-Gap reports, identified the Gaps.
• Created one page Data Flow Diagram displaying the source of data, data edits, business rules, transformation rules.

The scope of project in CDC is to configure the ‘Oracle Federal Financial application’ aligning with CDC business practice.
Responsibility:
• Responsible for analyzing and documenting the interface between the feeder applications and the (As-Is) Core financial Systems.
• Identified all the interface type, data type and the file formats for each interface. Created the high-level interface models for the feeder systems with the Financial System. Created one page Data Flow Diagram displaying the source of data, data edits, business rules, transformation rules.
• Analyze the interface with the To-Be System (UFMS). Created the To-Be data map identified the source of data and all the required data elements for each interface and Data Transformation rule.
• Researched in Oracle Financial for the interfaces by modules. Worked with the Functional and the technical team during Functional/Technical design Specs. Worked with the Technical team in resolutions of issues/concerns.
• Analyze the test results by reviewed the sample data with the specs. Conducted different meetings to explain the technical users about the new financial system and the change in business practice.

The scope of project in Data Management Section (DMS) group is to provide the current work activities initiated, managed, and completed by the divisions of the Human Resources Management Office (HRMO) of CDC, which will be needed for transition to the new PeopleSoft 8 software.
Responsibility: Responsible for developing and documenting Business Process Models for Authorization Process based on the Admin code and CIOs. Analyzed the EPATS application and compare with to-be PeopleSoft module to create a fit and gap report. Create the data map including the business rules for Transformation.

• Responsible for performing the fit and gap report from CDC/IS Travel System to Gelco Travel Manager System based on the analysis of both the Systems.
