Software Engineering: Headed a group of four students that designed and implemented a utility billing system very much like TXU. The whole project was done in the different phases.
• Analyzed and designed the utility billing system which included documents like System Requirement Specification, System Design and a project plan. After that we coded and tested the billing system
Library project: Implemented a library system in java. Its main features were the rich user interface that allowed students to check out books and return books, maintain the user’s history at the library.
Data Structures: Implemented a binary tree in java that would let users to maintain their information and display the results.
Semaphore project: The project was a clinic simulation. In this project I had to simulate a patient’s visit to a doctor’s clinic. There were hundred patients and three nurses and doctors. Each patient had its own nurse and doctor. I did this project by using semaphores and threads. This project also gave me a great understanding about thread communication.
