Letter of recommendation: Dated: 8-08-08
Reference: Greg Anderson:
I first met Greg at Athens Alabama in the early part of 2005. He was working in purchasing and
managing the warehouse functions at the Sweet Sue facility. I was currently working with
Castleberry Foods and at the time planning a closure of their facility and moving the production
to Augusta. We had the task of interviewing people and getting them to transfer to Augusta.
When I first interviewed Greg, I immediately was impressed with his knowledge of his job. He
was well organized and very prepared to walk me through his duties. I knew the task of moving
an entire operation would not be easy and I was sure he was the one to help make this transfer
successful. His job was very complex and moving that type of product into our facility would
require a great deal of knowledge of the plant. We convinced Greg to relocate his family to
Augusta and start the process of the transfer. It was no doubt from the beginning that this was a
good decision for the Augusta plant. He immediately made a positive impact for us. The person
doing our scheduling left the company. He stepped up to the task and we were not affected by
the loss of our previous employee.
Greg is truly a good employee. He is dependable and very dedicated to doing the very best job
possible. He has great communications skills and makes fact based decisions. Making tough
decisions is not a factor with Greg. He looks after the best interest for his job. He constantly
looks for cost savings opportunities and a great problem solver.
. I respect Greg as a person and as an employee. He has high moral standards and is a dedicated
family man. He has been a great asset for Castleberry's and will be an asset for his next
employer. Feel free to call me for anything further relating to Greg.

To Whom It May Concern:
My name is Gay Baird. I am writing this letter to share with you what a special
individual you will find in Greg Anderson.
I served as the General Manager at Sweet Sue Kitchens until March of2005. Greg was
employed at Sweet Sue during my tenure. He handled the purchasing/procurement of
packaging materials, labels, corrugated, cans, raw materials as well as plant supplies. He
also managed inventories.
Truthfully, I am sure that I am failing to mention all he did. The important thing to know
about Greg is that he is very organized and quite focused on what he is doing. He is very
bright and a quick study. He enjoys being part of a team and functions well as either a
team leader or participant. He is always pleasant and handles stress quite well. Greg
developed excellent working relationships with his peers as well as with our vendors.
Greg never disappointed me as an employee or as an individual. He is trustworthy,
honest and responsible. You can depend on him. Greg shows a lot of initiative. He will
see an issue that needs to be handled, and he will handle it. He will be there and will
deliver.
Whether Greg is being considered for a position in procurement or in some other
capacity, I am certain that he will be a valued and trusted addition to your team.
Respectfully,
Gay Baird

Subject: Letter of Recommendation for Greg Anderson
To Whom It May Concern:
Greg has worked as the Purchasing manager for Sweet Sue Kitchens since May of 2004. He transferred to our Facility from a Sara Lee Bakery plant that was downsizing towards a shutdown. His responsibilities include all purchasing for the plant, including but not limited to, maintenance parts and supplies, plant supplies and direct materials. Greg also manages the warehouse staff over all dry storage, maintaining economic inventory levels. He communicates with all levels of staff and management, both locally and at the Corporate level to allow our plant to be a least-cost, efficient operation.
At the time of Greg's transfer, our Facility had been without a Purchasing Manger for over 6 months. Greg stepped into the position seamlessly, taking the initiative from the first day to evaluate and update current processes. His work ethic is outstanding, allowing him to be a highly-respected member of our management team. He is excellent at thinking outside of the box for problem resolution. That, coupled with highly effective communication skills, allows for smooth transitions to new procedures.
In closing, Greg is an outstanding employee. His current job search is the result of our
Corporate office making the decision to shut down this Facility and relocate the entire
operation to Augusta, GA. I strongly recommend Greg for the position of Purchasing
Manager. He will be a strong asset to any Company fortunate enough to secure his
services.
Sincerely,
Shirley Brown
