I was solely responsible for all clinical duties in the practice. Liaison between patient and doctor/P.A., patient prescriptions, resolutions of patient issues. Specialized in filling implantable narcotic infusion pumps, ordered syringes of compounded pump medicine and coordinated next refill visits. Skilled at dressing changes, pulling spinal cord stimulator leads and removing staples. Responsible for scheduling procedures, prior authorizations and providing doctors orders and surgery packets to multiple out-patient facilities. I as prepared all doctors orders and surgery packets for procedures, home health liaison and direct communication with numerous out-patient facilities. Specialized in filling implantable narcotic infusion pumps, order compounded pump medicine, pulled leads, removed staples and did various dressing changes. This practice was extremely high volume and also had an on-site OR where I provided post-op care to patients receiving a variety of nerve blocks. As part of the start-up in 1998 I formulated many ideas over the years to help various functions run more smoothly. I was instrumental in compiling research and the implementation of the practice RX program and many forms used in the practice and on behalf of the clinicians.

Prior to my position as a RN I attended Florida State College for 4-5 years obtaining my AS in Nursing. My backgroung before the medical industry was in the legal field.
