Project Title 1: Formulation of clay free non damaging drilling fluid (NDDF) using fly ash

Description: This project is undertaken to formulate a clay free non damaging drilling fluid using fly ash as additive. The prime objective is to study the feasibility of fly ash as additive against Micronized Calcium Carbonate and reduction in cost of operation.

Project Title 2: Drilling management information system (DRILLMIS)

Description: This project is undertaken to understand storage and retrieval of information using SAP. It records daily drilling information of all rigs employed for ONGC drilling operations .Based on the day-to-day drilling data entry this system generates Daily Progress Reports (DPR), Weekly Reports and Monthly Reports for drilling activity at respective periodicity.

Other Projects:

Undertook minor project on topic “Subsurface Safety vales” to survey functions and mechanism of operation of safety valves.

Working on “Reservoir Characterization using well test data” as major project topic as a part of academic curriculum.

Other industrial exposure:

Accompanied ONGC geologists to the outcrop of KG-PG basin for geological field trip.

Geological field trips to ancient deposits of Ravulopalem and Meeranagar.

Visited IOCL refinery, Mathura, ONGC Ahmedabad assets and Cairn Energy Barmer.

Awarded rank of 1837 (97 percentile) in 3rd National IT Aptitude Test conducted by NIIT.

Successfully participated in 5th & 6th National Science Olympiad and The Green Olympiad organized by TERI, New Delhi.
