Designation: Executive – Human Resources

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Talent Acquisition:

• Assist Head-HR and HR Managers in annual Manpower Planning and forecasting.

• Prepare quarterly manpower forecasting.

• Ensure month-on-month monitoring of Actuals Manpower v/s budgeted.

• Sourcing and Screening of profiles through referrals, job portals and recruitment agencies.

• Coordinate for Campus Recruitment and Walk-in.

• Coordinate and follow-up with the line managers, HOD, HR Managers, Head-HR and the short listed candidates for Interviews.

• Liaison with HR Shared Services Team, HR Advisor Team and selected candidate to ensure roll-outs of offer, generation of offer letters and completion of other pre-joining formalities.

• Administer Candidate Screening Tests – Shapes and Thomas Profiling, for selected candidates.

• Coordinate for the on-boarding of employees and for their Induction Programme.

• Ensure compliance of mandatory background verification and reference check through agency.

• Handle Vendor and Contract management – empanelment of consultants, contract management and renewal, contract employees etc.

• Maintain recruitment tracker and MIS related to recruitment.

• Maintain Kuoni Recruitment Cockpit (recruitment management system) for online job posting and job application.

2. Talent Management:

• Guide and coordinate with line managers for goal setting exercise across PAN India.

• Liaison with Technical support team and employees for Goal setting and appraisal exercise on Kuoni Employee Cockpit.

• Ensure timely completion of annual goal setting, appraisal and mid-year review exercise.

3. Employee Engagement and Employee Relation:

• To plan and prepare Calendar for various employee engagement activities.

• To coordinate the roll out of various HR initiatives across India.

• Address and resolve employees’ grievances and queries.

• Ensure employees’ issues are handled in timely manner by other support functions.

• Maintain employees’ attendance and leave balance.

4. Compensation and Benefits:

• Fixing compensation for new recruits.

• Coordinate on Payroll processing. Ensure no miss-outs or delay in salary.

• Advising on Tax planning as applicable.

• Coordinate with employees and HR Shared Services on renewal of Medical Insurance for the employees.

5. HR Budgeting & Reporting:

• Assist Head-HR, SOTC, and the HR Managers in preparation of HR Budget.

• To monitor monthly HR cost with close coordination with Finance Team.

• Monthly preparation for HR Scorecard for reporting to Kuoni Travel Group,Zurich, parent company of Kuoni Travel Group, India.

• Ensure compliance of SLAs between HR Shared Services and HR Advisors.

6. Learning & Development:

• HR and operational Induction for New Joinees.

• Coordination with the line managers & trainers in facilitating the training programs as per the training calendar.

• Ensure nominations for various training programs like Global Training Curriculum, Potential Development Center, Management Development Program, etc.

• Maintain database of training conducted and employees covered under each program.

Achievements:

• Handled the role of HR Business Partner for Kuoni Academy, a subsidiary of Kuoni Travel Group, India.

• Part of the Audit team that conducted HR Audit across the Kuoni Travel Group, India, and its subsidiaries.

• Prepared and implemented policies related to Background Verification and Employees’ Attendance and Work Time.
