Description: Reckitt Benckiser plc (RB) is a British global consumer goods company, making and marketing home, health and personal care products. Headquartered in Slough, near London, UK, it has operations in over 60 countries, including 42 manufacturing facilities, and sales in nearly 200 countries. RB is ranked 6th in the 2008 European Business Week 50,[3] the magazine's annual ranking of the best performing companies within the S&P European 350.
Global Service Centre-India, the IS arm of RB came with the concept of standardizing the Demand Planning application within RB using Manugistics and provide Plug and Play tool to the Demand Planners.
Wipro Technologies, Bangalore, India is the implementation partner of RB and takes care of support and enhancement activities as well.
Responsibilities:
-Successfully managed Manugistics global Support for this giant FMCG Client leading a team of four Wipro consultants two others based out of client location. The support was provided for entire Europe, Latin America and Developing Market for 10 servers.
-Worked on three new implementations while being involved in each activity like preparing and reviewing As-Is Business Process Document, Business Process Mapping Document till sign -off and User guide while simultaneously delivered technical requirements.
-As one of the lead representative of Information Systems group's Manugistics Team, marketed and gave sales pitches and presentations to the business unit and functional heads from various geographical regions where the client business exists.
-Managed and worked on a process oriented yearly Change Development Releases for the client which included identifying and accepting the relevant changes after discussing in Change Board Meetings till delivering the same within timelines.
-Delivered Manugistics Functional as well as Technical Trainings on Demand based on the client's business process to the Demand Planners, IS and other business users for various regions and worked on Talent Management piece for RB and Wipro .
-Actively participated and gave suggestions for improvement of business processes in all the Super User Group meetings of Demand Planners and IS as the sole representative from the Implementation and Support Team from India.
-Responsible for preparing as well as review of all documents (Training Presentations, Technical Documentations, Test Cases, Root Cause Analysis Documents, Standard Operating Procedures, Impact Analysis Documents and various Work Flow and Instruction Manuals as per the requirements from users) and reports (Analysis Report, User Access Reports, Disc Space analysis Report etc)
-Single handedly managed and worked on seven small projects concerning business requirements ranging from release management pieces, customer hierarchy changes, branch plant changes, trainings to Mexico and Eastern Europe users and IS to project trainees talent management.
-Worked on streamlining and improvement of major processes like Release Management Strategies, Proactive Monitoring, discussing project flows, training agenda etc.
-Worked on many developments as a part of Change Release and bug fixing on PL/SQL and Oracle 9i based environment having great impact on business functionalities and generated revenue for the client.
