I had 10 years PT working experience in an orthopedic physical therapy

rehabilitation clinic, spine specialty and a chiropractic pain management

settings with 5 years in administrative, management and supervising level.

Before I changed my career path into the medical field, I was working in an

accounting industry for 10+ years.

My responsibilities in my accounting experience can be summarised as:-

- Manages daily operations to establish accounting information weekly,

monthly and annually

- Establishes timely review processes to deliver and maintain professional

firm's data for individual customers and the firm's itself as the firm's

identifies needs for recruiting new member, new software, new source income

and the firm's reporting.

- Handles the full range of transactions required of a professional firm

- Prepared weekly accounts payable list and cash position

- Prepared monthly cashflow and Billing Summary, Bills Collected, Bills

Cancelled, Bills Written-Off and the Profit and Loss Accounts for

the professional firm, it's management company and the partners' personal

investments limited accounts.

- Responsible for liaising with bankers and external auditors

- Reporte directly to the firm's partners

My job responsibilities in the medical field are:-

- Evaluating the patient's level of function by applying muscle, nerve,

joint and functional ability tests.

- Developing the plan of treatment to improve the patient's level of

functioning.

- Provides treatment modalities consistent with the plan of treatment to

relieve pain, develop or restore function, using physical means, such as

exercise, manual work, heat, infrared lamps, low voltage generators,

diathermy, TENS and ultrasonic machines.

- Directs and aids patients in active and passive exercises, muscle re-

education and gait training, activities of daily living including transfer

techniques and postural awareness.

- Evaluates ongoing progress in patient's condition in relation to care

given and revises plan of care appropriately.

The age range of the patients I have treated is between the age of 7 years

old to 85 years old. Some of the conditions of the patient population that

I have treated are:-

- Whiplash, spinal disc herniation, neck related-headache, neck and back

pain with discogenic sources, joints entrapment, scoliosis, SIJ pain,

spinal stenosis, spondylolysis, mal-aligned rib cage, paravertebral muscles

strain, plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinopathy, ITB syndrome, ACL re-

construction, total hip replacement, DeQuervain's syndrome, trigger

fingers, carpal tunnel syndrome, tennis elbow, golfer elbow, thoracic

outlet syndrome, rotator cuff repair, fracture clavicle, fracture coccyx,

fracture ribs, Parkinson disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity,

general de-conditioning etc.

I am licensed as a physical therapist in Colorado and am also a licensed

acupuncturist in California and Colorado with 2 years working experience in

a management level in a college setting.
