I am a highly motivated individual with 17 years of experience as a personal assistant, secretary and

administrative assistant in various fields. I am highly skilled in Word, Publisher, PowerPoint ,Adobe

PageMaker 7.0. and Outlook. I have 4 years experience in publishing a monthly newsletter, updating and

maintaining a website and overseeing three individuals. I seek out additional responsibilities and work with a

team. I set self-imposed deadlines and see to it they are met.

My main role was to assist the GM. I was also responsible for new Membership sales and solving

Membership concerns. As supervisor of concierge, I was responsible for the schedule of three employees,

coaching and introducing efficient business practices. I was responsible for publishing the monthly 10-page

newsletter. I was also in charge of ordering all the office supplies for each department while helping them

maintain their budget. I was also the administrator of the website which included daily updates of events and

past events to keep the Members informed.

I was able to sell the idea of a full color newsletter from the black and white that was previously used to

raise the standard of the Club's reputation.

I began as the receptionist and was quickly promoted to the accounting department in receivables and

payables. I was able to cultivate relationships with the vendors and the clients in order to best suit the

company's financial needs. I was trusted by the vendors. I had the ability to talk to customers and receive

payments before their due date.

I filed important documents, screened phone calls, set up conference calls with associates across the USA,

made travel arrangements and maintained the CEO's schedule.

Administrative Assistant/Office Manager

Answered 4 line phone system, screened calls for the Owner, General Manager and Engineer. Greeted clients

and sales persons.

Responsible for review of contracts, typed proposals, invoicing, collections on past due accounts, reconciled

timecards for 30 employees. Worked closely with General Contractors, PG&E, Pacific Bell and others

associated with the industry.

Assisted the GM with multiple tasks, dispatched service technicians where needed, called in for inspections

for both city and county, lined up subcontractors for jobs. I ordered rental equipment for use on jobs and

maintained records on rental period.

I was in charge of the architectural library, maintained filing on jobs, created color boards for clients review

of upcoming projects, took photographs, organized a data base history of jobs and drawings, typed project

reports, answered phone, maintained files of contractor change orders, proposals and request for changes

for each job.

My first job was as a route driver which involved driving around 300 miles a day picking up and delivering

film/photos to stores. Within just a few months I was promoted and moved to Detail Sales Representative. I

had a territory that I maintained on a monthly basis making sure each account was personally visited by me

to ensure they were getting the extraordinary service and quality. I was selected to represent the company

for a new photofinishing program to the K-Marts across the country from over one hundred representataives.

I visited stores,introduced the new program and answered questions about the program with much enthusiasm. I was transferred then to Springfield, MO where my personal attention was needed to help a particular store with problems. My relationship and devotion to this store saved the national account. I was then transferred to Orlando, FL where my territory was greatly increased and I was known as the problem solver.
