• Worked very closely with sales management to achieve company goals. Improved reporting to help the sales team grow the company and manage expenditures.

• Monitor and enforce controls and procedures to accommodate operational expenditures.

• Coordinate and track $22 million restructuring project to be completed in 2001.

• Coordinate financial reporting function between Pittsburgh and Hampton N.H. corporate headquarters; and expense budget of approximately $160 million.

• Coordinate and improve business unit budget process; includes yearly and quarterly budgeting.

• Improve flow of financial information to 25 distribution centers; accounting and reporting function handled in Pittsburgh office for these centers.

• Recognized $300k savings in the first two months with this organization.

WHEELABRATOR TECHNOLOGIES, INC.

Plant/Retrofit Construction Controller - St. Petersburg & Tampa, FL 1988 to 1998

• Complete financial responsibility for largest facility in the company; perform monthly accounting functions ranging from journal entry preparation and posting to financial statement preparation and variance explanation.

• Prepared Monthly Management Report to V.P. of Finance and V.P. of Operations outlining major facility activities.

• Responsible for the preparation of one, five and twenty year plant economics. Forecasting occurred quarterly and one-year plans were presented to senior management prior to their acceptance.

• Member of management team negotiating a $73 million Retrofit Project followed by the re-negotiation of an amended O&M Agreement with Pinellas County.

• Facilitated settlement of $700K in insurance claims outstanding since 1991 at Pinellas.

• Responsible for the implementation of a management changeover at McKay Bay when that facility was purchased from another company. This included changing policies and procedures for human resource activity, accounting and operations.
