Description (in brief): CDW is a crucial project in commercial department of Qatar Airways, there are many applications and internal processing which provide transactional data. CDW project involves in building data warehouse system with centralized business rules which converts data into useful interpreted information. Various Datamarts are created for each module such as Flown, Budget, Bookings etc. and many reports are created based on user requirement which helps the users in integration of information, consistent interpretation of information, faster decision making, bring down cost ownership.

CDW provides the information on Flown Details for the closed month, Bookings, Ticketed percentage and Forecast for the Current and 6 Forward Months and also provide the Market information with respect to the Agents and Competitors. The information is being analyzed at the Point of sale, Month, Cabin and O&D or Sector level.

Responsibilities:

• Involved in Requirement Gap Analysis.

• Involved in Development and testing of Business Object Universe and documentation of the same.

This project includes the development and implementation of the IFE changes i.e. corporate customer can book the LC, FT and other transactions related to Flexcube Corporate from IFE.

• Developed reports for reconciliation and other MI reports for business to reconcile the data initiated from IFE.

Description (in brief): Flexcube implementation for Barclays Bank is done in 5 countries and each country needs different set of reports as part of the enhancement. Based on the client requirements the Central Bank Regulatory Reports are developed from FRS system which will extract the data from both corporate and retail systems.

• Development and customization of regulatory reports as per business needs.

• Involved in preparing the Requirement specifications for the new reports and the existing modified reports

• Interacted with users and done Gap Analysis of the existing reports and prepared RS and got signoff from users

• Developed reports are thoroughly tested and sent to onsite for deployment

Project#4 : Reports development from Flexcube

Description (in brief): The bank needs to develop Site-specific Reports, Data Operational Reports, Central Bank Reports and Finance Reports for the modules of Loans, CASA, Term Deposit used by the bank from the FLEXCUBE Corporate and Retail banking software.

Barclays Bank Uganda needs Regulatory Reports which are to be submitted for Central Bank. FRS is a Reporting service which uses data from Corporate and Retail banking applications from which BO reports are generated.

Responsibilities:

• Involved in Requirement gathering for Central Bank reports and Ad-hoc reports from users.

• Design and development of Business Objects Universes, which suits the standard, analytical reporting requirement of the users.

• Involved in the trouble shooting of universe schema with loops, chasm and fan traps.

• Created and tested classes and objects to organize the universe

• Done PL/SQL coding to extract data from the source systems which is useful for developing Regulatory Reports.

Project#5 : Flexcube Data Repository and Bank MI Reports

Description (in brief): FLEXCUBE Reporting Services (FRS) Application provides an integrated data repository solution for generating periodic reports and for data interface to external systems required by the bank. The Bank requires generation of various categorical reports at various periodical intervals these periodic reports are based on the snapshot of the data as on the reporting date. The data for these reports are extracted and are processed from FLEXCUBE (FCC & FCR). The FRS will thus be a source of assured data to feed those Reports, which are expected to be generated from the FRS. FRS extracts the data from FCC and FCR into FRS database, which will be used to create Business Objects reports.

Responsibilities:

• Using PL/SQL Code, Data is extracted, transformed and Loaded using ASCII Files from main source tables to Reporting System.

• Developing the Regulatory Reports using Procedures.

• Creation of Ad-hoc Reports for Online Reporting

• Involved in changing the reports as part of UAT

• Created multiple Universe and Document domains to maintain a single repository for multiple countries.

Project#6 : Flexcube Reporting System

Description (in brief): An MIS System, the data is extracted from Flexcube Corporate and Retail Modules. A universe was built on this system to develop the Reports. Data is extracted from FLEXCUBE in the form of ASCII Files. The data is loaded into the data mart using SQL LOADER. Data transformations were built using PL/SQL and the various dimensions and facts are loaded.

Flexcube Reporting Services (FRS) is integration of Both Flexcube Corporate and Flexcube Retail from which all the Reports related to Finance and other department of the Banks will be developed. This FRS includes all the modules from both Corporate and Retail. All the Central Bank reports and Adhoc reports are developed for Tachong Bank.

Responsibilities:

• Development of Business Objects Reports for FOREX and Treasury Modules.

• Involved in debugging of PL/SQL coding.

• Changes in universe were done as per the requirements from the user.
