• Confer with the Office Manager to get assignments and directions on the type of equipment needed and amount of packing material needed, work hour requirement and completion time.

• Complete the Local and Long Distance Material Checklist on all trucks as assigned to make sure all needed materials are on board prior to going out on a move.

• Certify by signature the completion of the Daily Driver’s Vehicle Inspection Report.

• Go over mechanics of move with helper prior to the start of the move noting any special instructions and requirements, certifying start time, loading and packing instructions and travel instructions.

• Adhere to company moving policies and procedures to pack, unpack, load and unload household goods.

• Inspect and inventory all loading operations to ensure compliance with shipping specifications and seal loaded trailer doors.

• Observe packing and wrapping operations to verify conformance to specifications.

• Assure conformance to loading patterns to prevent shifting or damage to household goods during transit.

• Upon completion of assigned moves, all equipment and necessary paperwork is returned to the office.

Read job order and mount specified plate and printing dies on cylinder, install cylinder on shaft and secure assembly in bed of press.

Fill dye fonts with prescribed inks or dyes. Move levers to engage dye rolls, adjusting position of cylinder to print two or more colors without overlapping or smearing previously printed area.

Insert shaft through core of paper roll and secure roll on press in feed position. Splice end of roll to trailer sheet remaining in press, using tape, and to regulate roll tension and feed as directed.

Start press, adjusting speed, tension, and alignment of printing plate as necessary. Cut samples of printed material from end of printed roll and inspect for imperfections, such as blurred or off-center impressions.

Clean plates, cylinders, and impression rollers as needed, using solvent, and lubricate press as needed.

Monitor the paper feeders and make adjustments to the ink distribution.
