MTS Sensors is the World leader in non-contacting linear displacement sensors. These products were sold to OEM’s [Caterpillar, Deere, and Parker Hannifin] in the Off-Road construction vehicle market and into the hydraulic cylinder sector. I conceptualized and convinced Caterpillar to partner with MTS Sensors on the development of an intelligent hydraulic cylinder, thereby increasing market share for both firms.
I held several positions of increasing responsibility, based upon self-motivation and ability to create solutions while maintaining an enthusiastic outlook. These included Regional Sales/Applications Manager, Distribution Sales Manager, Hydraulics Maintenance Manager and Special Products Development Manager for Off-Road Machines.
These positions all had direct OEM accountability and I was successful during every phase.
The Distributor Sales increased by 24% while under my direction and motivational mentoring of 30 distributor organizations.
I received the Top Sales Performance award in 2003.
