EXPERIENCE

JPMORGAN CHASE (CDI CORPORATION), Columbus, OH 2006 – 2009

Project Manager

• Managed the Midwestern Territory of an Enterprise Active Directory conversion project with a $3.8million budget and eight resources.

• Responsible for the migration of users’ home drives and Lines of Business’ shared drives and all associated data from Novell Servers to Active Directory and decommissioned the Novell Servers.

• Utilized personnel data extracted from an Oracle database via MySQL to communicate to the Lines of Business which of their users will be migrated to Active Directory. Created summaries and metrics to attach to the migration request forms indicating the users and dates for the engineers to migrate.

• Maintained an issues and actions log that listed who is responsible to resolve the issue, the estimated date to resolve and actual date resolved and what the resolution was.

• Worked in the Global Technology Infrastructure GDS PMO where I oversaw the compliance, performance, and engagements of project and engineering resources in the Client Services organizations in the Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific. This included the initial triage of incoming requests, development and tracking of key performance indicators and metrics, and helping project managers remediate quality issues.

• Developed reports and dashboard summaries of various metrics for management including performance measurement and analysis, program and portfolio analysis, and compliance to policy.

• Created and maintained Best Practices, PMO Process and Procedures, and other valuable GDS PMO documentation.

• Supervised the development of the Highway Management System (HMS) Web Time and Attendance application with a

$1.8million budget and four resources consisting of a Business Analyst and three developers.

• The .Net application was developed in Microsoft Visual Studio and interfaces with PeopleSoft, Oracle v11i and Active Directory.

• Responsible for task assignments, status reporting and billable hours of the resources in Microsoft Project. Performed application reviews and resolved reported issues.

• Developed test scripts for the Unit, System and Pilot testing phases.

• Developed training materials to be distributed to over 4,300 users at State Highway Patrol posts and non-patrol locations.

JPMORGAN CHASE (ROBERT HALF TECHNOLOGY), Columbus, OH 2005 – 2005

• Managed up to 14 projects derived from service requests by the Lines of Business. The budgets ranged from $2,500 - $1.3million

with a range of 2 – 8 resources per project depending on the size.

• Project requests consisted of deploying new and/or existing software applications to Line of Business workstations.

• Developed Project Scope Documents and Project Cost Estimates and presented them to the Lines of Business to gain their approval.

• Executed all aspects of the project by utilizing a system development lifecycle methodology (SDLC).

• Completed courses for Cost Estimating/Expense Capture, Tactical Resource Management and Change Management Process Overview.

AMERICAN ELECTRIC POWER, Columbus, OH 1995 – 2005

IT Team Leader/Project Manager

• IT Team Leader for the Human Resources (HRMS) application group during conversion to PeopleSoft v8.0, PeopleTools v8.18 and Oracle v8i with a $12.6million budget.

• Used Microsoft Project to enter task identification, prioritization, and assignments for my staff of sixteen resources.

• Coordinated the PeopleSoft training and budget requirements for all HRMS teams. Involved working with individual team members, other team leads and the IT training group.

• Performed non-production infrastructure tasks for the PeopleSoft Financials and HRMS areas.

• An effective liaison between the functional user and technical communities in establishing common awareness and discussions of processes.

• Conducted change request, production outage, production issues and root cause analysis meetings and monitored the status of action items assigned.

• Represented the Enterprise Application Services area at change control meetings with other IT application areas to insure that there are no cross-impacts between them.

• Project Manager for the Integrated Time Reporting system. This system incorporated several time reporting applications for different entities throughout the company. The team consisted of five full time staff members and two members shared with another group. Responsible for primary support of the time reporting systems.

• Project Manager for the Multi-Day Time Reporting system. Responsible for the development of several online programs to replace an existing application. Involved in the design of new DB2 tables, developing them using Platinum.

• Attended a course in PowerBuilder in order to support a client server version of the Multi-Day Time Reporting system.

• Worked on an Employee Self Service application developed for the Intranet that allowed employees to view and edit their personal information. Utilized Java and TCP/IP to connect to the mainframe to execute CICS programs to access DB2 tables and VSAM files.

• Developed online and batch programs for the Cook Nuclear Plant time reporting system. This system utilized a package called Tenera that performs DB2 and CICS functions.

FIRST UNION NATIONAL BANK, Charlotte, NC 1994 – 1994

• Worked in the Corporate Trust division on a stocks and bonds application called CSS-II.

• Modified several COBOL II programs for the bonds division to change report layouts and gather new data for the reports.

• Enhanced job streams to run more efficiently, resulting in shorter runtimes and less resource usage.

• Converted EasyTrieve report generating programs to COBOL II programs.

• Analyzed all reports of the Corporate Trust division and surveyed the recipients to determine which reports could be archived to generation datasets, or deleted, or printed for hard copy filing. This reduction in report processing resulted in a 75% overall savings in monthly printing costs.

DUKE POWER COMPANY, Charlotte, NC 1992 – 1994

Project Manager/IT Professional II

• Managed a team of four programmer/analysts to produce the Duke Power Address Book, an application for an employee information repository, and a $1.1million budget. The application was developed using COBOL II, CICS, PL/I and DB2. Part of the application is available to the entire company while another part is available only to information coordinators and security administrators via RACF security.

• Managed a team of three programmer/analysts to develop an automatic payment system for the telecommunication department to allow telephone companies to send their billing information on cartridges. The data is validated and inserted into database files to create a uniform format between each telephone company. Electronic vouchers and both online and printed reports are produced.

• Handled the conversion and addition of area codes within several telephone company database tables for the telecommunication department.
