My main focus is to develop a safety culture and ensure expectations are understood. I achieve this goal by behavior based safety and safety recognition programs. I am also responsible for oversight of all safety operations during the Vessels of Opportunity BP oil spill cleanup efforts on site. Also, a single blade change out operation at the Fowler Ridge Wind Farm which consisted of a total of 15 blades being changed with a support crew of 30 personnel. Conduct job site audits to identify potential hazards as well as recognize employees for safe work practices. Organized daily coordination/safety meetings with all contractor supervisors for all employees on-site. Maintain accurate records and reports and review that all corrective actions are implemented. Develop and maintain working relationships with identified occupational physicians and enforce Return-to-Work policy. Conducted new hire orientations and safety training which included; OSHA 10hr and 30hr training, fire-watch, scaffolding, confined space, and fall rescue training.

Coordinate with contractors to make sure proper training and documentation is being met, oversee multiple critical crane lifts consisting of multiple cranes and weights up to 250,000 pounds. Evaluate pre-qualification documents of up coming contractors and verify existing contractors have updated information. Lastly, I conduct and document daily work site audits.
