OBJECTIVE
I am a married mother of two teenagers with over 25 years experience in the medical profession and radiology transcription. For the past three years I have been employed at our community elementary school as the cafeteria manager in order to spend more time with my kids. In my position I am responsible for over 350 student lunch accounts. I make daily cash deposits for the school and balance work sheets. Now that my children are older, I am looking for a position that is a little more challenging and uses my other skills. I feel if given the chance I would be able to be a great asset to the right company willing to give me a chance. I have always been a very hard and dedicated worker with an excellent work record.
WORK OF EXPERIENCE
1974 to 2003 - Smith Clinic, Marion, OH. Started work as a file clerk and was trained there to do radiology transcription. In my transcription position I was responsible for transcribing over 100 radiology reports daily from four radiologist. These reports included all general radiology exams, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, MRI and CT. In 1992 I was promoted to office manager. There I was responsible for six other employees. My job also required that I keep accounting books for the radiologists as well as scheduling patients for exams and working with over 40 physicians in our multi-physician practice. I was responsible for providing monthly production reports for the four radiologist that I worked for. I held that position until 1996 when I had my second child and decided to stay at home with my children and take care of my ailing mother. . From there I did home radiology transcription for the Smith Clinic until approximately 2003.
2003 to 2005 - Medquist Inc. Worked approximately two years doing home radiology transcription. During that time I was nominated and received transcriptionist of the month. I worked many different shifts and days. My production numbers, were in the 800-1000 lines per day range.
2000 to Present - Elgin Local Schools. Worked part time and filled in as a substitute whenever was need. In 2004 was hired full time as a cashier in the cafeteria with my primary duty keeping track of over 350 elementary children lunch accounts. In 2007 I was promoted to Cafeteria Manager. I run the kitchen and am responsible for approximately 350 lunches per day. I have three cooks that work under me. I am responsible for making up the menus and assuring that they have the daily requirements of nutritional values as well as all of the ordering for those menus. I also take care of over 350 lunch accounts for students and staff.

I enjoy spending time with my husband and children who are involved in many various school and sports activities. As a family we enjoy spending time together.
