Optimum Control of selective and total harmonic distortion in current and voltage under non sinusoidal condition (main project).

In recent years, there has been an increased use of power-electronic systems among the power-supply utilities and consumers. These nonlinear loads draw non sinusoidal current from the source, causing non sinusoidal voltage drops across the transmission line and transformer impedances.

Solar Energy emergency power inverter (mini project).

This project is to demonstrate how we can utilize solar light to electrify the remote areas for small-scale lighting applications. This inverter is based on PWM technology and has a lot of protection and control circuits compared to the traditional inverters.

During daytime, solar energy is absorbed and stored in the battery can then be used to light up the lamp. This is particularly also helpful in those areas where power supply is irregular.

Technical seminar on HVDC transmission line voltage source converter.

The underlying technology of VSC based HVDC systems, its Characteristics and the working principle of VSC based HVDC system are also presented. This paper concludes with a brief set of guidelines for choosing VSC based HVDC systems in today electricity system development.
