Resume:

Introduction: What I sincerly feel seperates me from the 'typical' Project Manager is the fact that I began at a laymans position (apprentice)in the mid 1960's to reach my goal with a focused minds-eye-set, and strict determination to accomplish my task. I hold a Union Glaziers Card to this day. I am a Certified Union Instructor in 'ALL PHASES' of Glass/Glass Related Subject Headings even into Safety/Osha Certification. In other words I graduated from College with a vast amount of knowledge and understanding of the complete Glazing Industry and I have continued to work in the industry for almost 38 years, though I no am no longer associated with any Unions.

As an educated Glazing Project Manager, I obtain the knowledge & understanding of the 'Science'(if you will) of our work & certainly not limited to multi-story Curtain-Wall projects be it as Site Installation or Unitized systems, Flush-Glazed, Window Wall, Stack system, Bomb Blast, Skylites,& every other glazing system known world wide.

That being said, I know what it takes to see a job through. I know how our workers think from an Apprentice to a Top-Drawer Glazing Superintendent, to the corporate chief's expectations (on a daily basis) with no excuses...period!

I know Because I have earned the same titles.

In the interim, I have great leadership qualifications, I consider myself a true to heart people-person with the ability's of making folk's feel what I feel in terms of Architects, General Contractors, Owners, Owners-Rep,& even having a lunch my crew on a tailgate at the job site. Respect is something a man has to earn. I earn mine!

I Thank You for taking your time to allow me the opportunity to discuss the possibility.

It is My Passion, & I would sincerly like to share it with you.

Have a Wonderful Day.

Robert H. Smith CCGPM

Glass & Glazing Specialist.
