Managed and authored processes, policy development, correspondence, information requests and technology development for use by all U.S. Air Force bases in Europe. Developed critical communications systems status reporting tool to provide on-demand updates to senior leadership across multiple organizations. Led software development team to produce first-ever secure interface.

- Centralized software development leading to unit collaboration and increased efficiency. Different units were developing similar software programs for various processes without interaction. Current procedures wasted personnel time and effort. Submitted proposal for centralization of software development. Proposal was accepted by U.S. Air Force and implemented world-wide.

- Improved on-time tasking rates from 60% to 95%. Division was late on 40% of all taskings from all sources and required three full-time personnel to handle the workload. Developed processes and automations to control internal and external tasks. Improved on-time rates by 35% enabling a decrease in manpower to one part-time employee.

Department Head, Multimedia and Electronics Maintenance, U.S. Air Force, 2001 to 2004. Directed staff of 85. Led operations for base graphics, digital photography, video production, publications, base television channel and physical intrusion detection systems maintenance.

- Upgraded perimeter intrusion detection systems reducing false alarm rates by 79%. Perimeter intrusion detection systems were generating excessive false alarms due to aging equipment. These alarms were reducing productivity and interfering with the maintenance of other systems. Obtained funding to modernize an intrusion detection sensor system. Upgrades reduced false alarm rates, freeing up manpower for other missions.

- Authored first highly successful DoD study involving iris recognition biometric and smart card technology. The General Services Administration was analyzing biometric technologies to assess where they could be utilized. Developed Department of Defense study concerning iris recognition and smart card technology. Study was published providing an accurate blueprint for evaluating technical requests concerning this technology.

- Achieved 100% mission ready status, through modernization and revitalization of equipment. Department ran inefficiently due to equipment degradation as a result of lack of funding. Identified new funding source leading to $3.5M investment. Became only department to achieve 100% readiness status, allowing department to continue full customer support after loss of 50% of assigned personnel.

Manager, Personnel Assignments System Support, U.S. Air Force, 1996 to 2001. Led and oversaw development of headquarters assignment management system handling human resource assignments for entire Air Force.

- Spearheaded design, development, testing, certification and operation of a first-ever secure web-based interface for the Air Force Personnel system. Project was completed on-time and under budget with a 90% savings of both time and money over previous project team with reduced head-count from 9 to 6 personnel.

- Directed addition of time-sensitive feature for the web-based personnel system. Project was completed in only 15% of the estimated time and was lauded by senior leadership as creating a new benchmark standard for tracking and improving staff retention levels.

Financial Systems Programmer Analyst, U.S. Air Force, 1986 to 1996. Led development team and accomplished hands on financial systems software development for Air Force worldwide payroll system. Development accomplished in 10 programming languages.

- Revised the Appropriated Fund Support to Morale, Welfare, and Recreation activities system reducing the quantity of computer code in the system. This code reduction and program effectiveness was performed with seamless integration and reduced errors by 90%, improving maintainability, and accelerating routine changes.

- Revolutionized the release processing system for the Air Force Civilian Automated Pay System. Reduced erroneous software releases to zero from an average of 2 per year and also increased change tracking from 60 to 100 percent per year.
