Senior Payroll Specialist

• Enter payroll for all clients assigned to me by calling them on the phone or receiving a fax or e-mail that states their hours, earnings and changes they request.

• Troubleshoot problems and errors for my clients as well as assist other specialist clients if their specialist is gone or busy.

• Complete quarterly tax returns and amendments as required and needed.

• Act as a group mentor for the non-senior specialists on our team which includes answering questions related to payroll and assisting them with any problems and issues that they are having. Also assist them with system shortcuts as they pertain to payroll entry helping with more challenging clients.

• Researched and interviewed companies that would manage the newly developing 125 plan.

• Administered and recorded vacations requests and also did the annual closeouts on sick and vacation leave.
