Career History / Entrepreneurial Experience

VP-District Manager, AXA Advisors, 2008-2009 - A business development role focused on

recruiting, production and profitability. Responsible for the hiring, training and development of

experienced Planners and Advisors.

Owner / President, Legacy Financial & Planning Services, 2003-present - Running all aspects of

a business including prospecting, selling, client management and relationship building functions.

Markets included individuals and business owners. Emphasis on risk management, wealth transfer and distribution strategies. Health, Life, Disability, Long term care, fixed and variable annuities & worksite mktg.

Broker Dealers included: NY Life Securities and MassMutual.

Sales Manager/Business Development Consultant, FRA, Inc, 2006-2007 – A management role which

allowed me to lead, mentor, train and develop a team of sales agents. Major markets included the senior

market place utilizing wealth transfer techniques. Earned “Rookie of the year” award for recruiting excellence.

Regional Manager, Penn Mutual, 2002-2003 - Recruited independent advisors to offer a diverse product

line of variable and fixed products. Built relationships based on a “Producer-Value Commitment” concept.

Advanced planning tools and concepts were employed to bring value to advisors and their customers

within the business owner and the wealthy affluent marketplaces.

Regional Director, Canada Life, 1999-2002 - Re-built a virtually “scratch” region from 5 active

producers to over 70. Developing and implementing an effective territory management system to broaden

visibility and exposure resulting in an increase in sales force and production. Introduced a new Variable product

into the market place as well as critical illness policy. Built and fostered relationships among broker dealers, IMO’s

and independent producer groups. Wholesaled successfully both fixed and variable life and annuity products.

Senior Territorial Consultant, Utica National Insurance Group, 1988-1999 – Acquired an infant territory and built it into the largest, most profitable and productive region within the Life Company. Helped a “B” rated company succeed and obtain an “A” rating. Region included Metro NY and Long Island. Building strong alliances with producers and producer groups was invaluable. My emphasis on service, value, commitment and hard work resulted in great successes. Major markets included worksite marketing of portable insurance products.

Happily married, with 3 sons, re-located from NY to CO in 1999. I enjoy camping, skiing and playing with the kids.
