Job Description: Facilities/Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Mechanics.
Position Summary: As a supervisor of IGT’S facilities my primary responsibilities were to provide a safe, functional and efficient environment for all employees. I was also responsible for the installation, operation, maintenance, modification, construction, modernization as well as the protection of all twelve facilities and 630,000 square feet new Buffalo facilities. I had to work closely with Operations Management and Purchasing department to anticipate the need for capital expenditures and repair all facilities.
Accomplished Projects: Retorlfit lighting in the 1045, 1085 Palms Airport and Spencer facilities, and install INET2000 WEBCTRL program for HVAC with a ROI in nine months and a 30% utility cost savings. Requested and coordinate the install of a Meridian 61C PBX switch with Vioce Mail for 1045, 1085 Palms Airport and Spencer facilities, and implemented in-house Adds, Moves and Changes for phones with a ROI in ten months and phone bill cost savings of 40%. Implemented a iMaint 2005 & 2007 program for work orders for all buildings. I set up PPM programs for all equipment/assets, WEBCTRL for HVAC and lighting control program for all open areas at the new Buffalo facility. I also was working on ISO audit for the department that was coming up in Sept. 2009. I was part of Energe Task Force and was assigned to install occupinses sensors for all offices, conferance rooms, IDF rooms and custodial/utility rooms throughtout the new Buffalo campus. This would have created a 20% annual utility cost savings with a ROI in ten months. Worked with vendors and contractors for all repairs and maintenance duties.
Position Responsibilities:
• Developed and maintain a preventive maintenance program for all equipment and facilities.
• Developed best work practices, monitors team performance, and develop programs to minimize and track equipment downtime.
• Managed the annual budget for facilities maintenance and repairs including capital projects.
• Directed skilled maintenance personnel in the repair and maintenance of electrical, mechanical assets and equipment.
• Controls and maintained inventory of spare parts to support the preventive maintenance program.
• Developed, train and monitor safe work practice for the facility.
• Kept in compliance and abreast of OSHA regulations
• Demonstrated a commitment to IGT’S core values.
