PROJECTS
Brush bar balancing project (At Dyson – Current job)
• A maiden project to set a standard in brush bar (a shaft in a vacuum floor tool) unbalance in term of spec, design requirements and corrective actions based on current production capabilities.
Modal analysis and Harmonic responses analysis (At Dyson – Current job)
• A one-man project to determine the cause of high vibration on vacuum floor tool and at the same time educate and give consultation to design engineers on tackling vibration issue caused by structural resonance
Pedestrian protection simulation (Final year master's degree research project)
• The objective is to simulate the effect of different vehicle designs to an accident victim in case of a vehicle – pedestrian collision and how to decrease the possible injuries suffered by the pedestrian
• The project consisted of detailed research in human body anatomy, vehicle designs and dynamic simulations
4 wheel vehicle behaviour in cornering (First year master's degree research project)
• Developed a mathematical model of a 2 wheel drive vehicle when taking corner
• Describe the usual vehicle dynamics, such as under steer and over steer phenomenon, using the same model
Portable wind turbine (Second year degree project)
• This project consisted of designing and fabricating a portable wind turbine
• A lot of calculations, computer modelling and simulations, machining and time-financial management were involved
EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
• Sports: Jog and play badminton nearly every week. Participated in Malaysian Cardiff Games 2010
