PROJECT AT UWIC (UK):
The project that I handled during my Masters at my University was based on Marketing Communications and the main aim of the project was to increase intake of students from the African and European countries. During the project we developed a marketing plan that analysed the Universities marketing communications strategy and made necessary changes so as to increase student intake from Africa and Europe.
We developed the Universities e- marketing activities focussing on what African students had in the offing if they chose UWIC as their study destination and what jobs UK had in store for them once they graduated. It involved Business development (B2C & B2B), Branding and Marcom activities, in terms of attracting students and agencies in various countries to apply and join our university. We worked closely with agencies in Africa that promoted studying abroad, created online content and print for these agencies to increase awareness and intake of students.
PROJECT DURING MBA DISSERTATION (UK):
Project – Project Management of CRM which was undertaken during my final semester in UWIC was related to understanding and analyzing the working of the customer relationship management and internal marketing methods implemented at Vodafone Contact Centre from start to end and closing gaps. The project involved developing strategies, market research on competitor performance and customer behavior analysis.
The project was aimed at managing the various problems faced by the CRM team during their routine operations at work and suggesting improvements to minimize and rectify the issues which in turn was aimed at increasing the customer satisfaction and retention. This involved a huge task of translating and coordinating the customer and business needs into profitable and deliverable outcome.
During the 4 months of my project I helped the CRM team analyze the process loopholes and make considerable improvements in the overall customer support and better adaptation of real time marketing which increased the revenue earned after filling gaps. It also was closely linked in developing the business in terms of attracting new customers and retaining present customers.
