I have personally sold about $50 Million and managed another $150 Million Dollars worth of product with sweat, smarts, persistence and determination. I have hired, trained and managed numerous successful inside and outside sales representatives over the years, some still in the industry today. This was accomplished without any bad debt write-offs or company incurred back charges.
• Awarded "Mark of Excellence" Hughes Supply's Outstanding Performance Award multiple times.

• In 2004, one of the top three performing branches in the company in the $5 to $10 million dollar
category nationally with a 60% ROS on $7,500,000 in sales.
• In 1992, developed a new market for AWWS/Hughes Supply pre-engineered concrete products in
Alabama. I sold The Birmingham Water Works Board engineering department on our pre-cast concrete utility vaults and secured a sole source specification. This sole-source spec generated $1 million plus dollars in volume annually and provided the way to open a new branch in Birmingham. Also, rewrote their residential meter box and lid spec around our AWWS 9200S. I sold over 5,000 units in the first year alone, for $200K in sales.

Then purchased all the inventory, equipment trucks, forklifts etc. and staffed the branch. The branch grew from two to nine employees with sales to $7.5 million dollars annually with well over a million dollars in net profits. My efforts helped Hughes Supply securing exclusive distribution for Ames Company, control and backflow devices in Alabama. Routine sales calls with consulting civil and municipal engineers to gain favorable project specifications. I was responsible for N.E. Alabama territory with sales equaling $3 million dollars.
