· Resolution Trust Corporation Prepared and implemented comprehensive work-out strategies. Beginning in 1989 with the Savings & Loan crisis, handled day-to-day distressed asset management issues for Canal. When the Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC) was created by Congress, I had a contract to evaluate real estate assets, review asset valuations, and function as an expert witness regarding real estate portfolio issues. This position uniquely combined my law degree, appraisal and brokerage experience.
· First Citizens Bank and Trust Company Performed commercial real estate REO assignments and expert witness testimony assignments between 1993-1998.

· Managing member responsible for the due-diligence and management of a fund which provides mezzanine financing for commercial real estate investments.

CIS had a 1990 market value of approximately $225 million comprised of real estate, two franchises (Blockbuster Entertainment and American Storage), venture capital funds, listed stocks and non-listed stocks.
· Retained by the CIS managing general partner to report the day-to-day activities of the fund portfolio. Primary functions included a substantial emphasis in the management, acquisition and conveyance of properties in the widely-diversified real estate component. The total CIS real estate portfolio was estimated to have a 1990 market value of $112 million. The position uniquely combined my law degree and appraisal experience.
· Assisted in the creation of Atlantic Coastal Holdings, Inc. in 1989 to manage problem real estate with a 1990 estimated market value of $14 million.
· Also functioned as a Commercial Real Estate Broker for Canal Investment Society.
