Responsibilities
• Extensively involved in performing technical analysis and writing technical specifications based on the business requirement and user specifications.
• Developed the application using J2EE architecture in Struts 1.2 Framework
• Integrated MPAY (Leading payroll provider) with CRMLink application using web services and Axis 1.2

Project: Integrating Collaborations tools with Software Development Assistance (SDA)
Role: Capstone Project – University of Houston – Clear Lake
Software Development Assistant (SDA) was a process automation tool developed by Tietronix. SDA was built on J2EE technologies like EJBs, Struts, Servlets, JSP and more. The SDA UI framework was built upon a leading open source portal called Liferay. It was required to analyze open source collaboration tools like message board and Time keeping systems and integrate with SDA.
Responsibilities
• Study the available open source message board and select one candidate for integration.
• Selected JForum (2.1.8) (http://www.jforum.net) as the message board to be integrated with SDA.
• Prepared a high level document for JForum.
• Disable the existing login mechanism of JForum via JForum API
• Converted JForum to a portlet
• Developed the application using J2EE architecture in Struts 1.2 Framework
• Developed a synchronization code using the DAO pattern to synchronize data between JForum and SDA.
• Integrated the portlet version of JFourm with SDA
