KNOWLADGE AND SKILLS 09/ 19997 TO PRESENT
Field Technician: Installation of unshielded twist pair cable such as cat3, cat5, cat6, cat7 Coax cable and fiber optic cable for telephone and computer network.
Support the network cable in ceiling using J-hocks and cable tray and tie wrap.
Terminating of telephone jacks on RJ 11 and the data jacks on RJ 45 using 568 A or 568B color code method upon customer’s requirement
Build the closet, mount the rack install the patch panels and fiber boxes and other equipments such as switches in the TR, ER, EF and prepare the end user work station
Prepare the voice frame 110 blocks or 66 block and others on the wall mounted plywood
Terminating the horizontal cables and the backbone cables on 24 ports or 48 ports and 96 ports patch panels and run patch cords from the patch panel to the switch and cross connect the voice frame to the tie pair.
Terminating of single mode or multimode fiber using SC, LC, ST connectors upon the requirement of the customer
Perform quality assurance test and troubleshoot any problems that rises for proper connectivity and the transport of the data.
Fire-stopping and grounding and bonding systems
Experienced in working in new construction and building retrofit environment
