07. Solution for Personal Video Recorder for HDD.

Description:

Implementing various features for Recording and playback based on European standards like Nordig PVR, CI+1.3

Implemented Functionality

- Various method of Recording to HDD like (one touch/through EPG/through Manual timer)

- Various method for Playback from HDD(Normal Playback/ChasePlayback)

Description:

This application development is for HD-PVR solution, which supports both DVB-T AND DVB-S. The digital application supports basic DVB functionalities along with basic PVR.

Responsibilities:

• Porting the existing application in to new conaxent repository architecture

• Design and Integrate PVR module from Conaxent reference code (Cnxt to QDTV)

• Enhanced the existing feature to adopt with client requirement

• Make design documents

• Develop User Interface for PVR

• Execute System and Integration test and ensure the quality

• Did a Field testing in Germany and Astria

• Modify EPG Engine (Collection & parsing).

• Prepare design document for PVR Engine

05. Development of digital PVR Application.

This application development is for Dual HD-PVR solution, which supports both Analog and Digital (DVBS / DVB-S2). The digital application supports AV presentation, channel scan, EPG collection, EPG presentation and Dual recording

Description

This application development is for integrated Digital Television (iDTV), which supports both Analog and Digital (Air and cable). The digital application supports AV presentation, channel scan, EPG collection, EPG presentation and MHEG-5. This is the first application got Passed all test cases in DTG test suits, UK.

Responsibilities

• Do requirement analysis along with Client in Japan

• Make Functional requirement specification (FRS) for this requirement in Japan.

• Design the Basic concepts of OSD and get the approval from customer.

• Developed Common API’s for OSD integration.

• Developed Common API’s for Database integration based on modular approach to reusability and easy portability.

• Integrated DVB Subtitle in Application.

• Integrated MHEG-5 in Application.

• Design and Integrate the UART Protocol communication (Which communicated to Analog module).

Description

Responsibilities

• Developed Middleware API’s for PVR Integration.

• Implemented wakeup timers for live service switching and recording based on manual and EPG events.

• Handled record one and play another service or play another record

• Implemented various play modes for records like Normal play, Intro play, Random play.

• Integrating JPEG viewer.

• Implement the middleware layer for Auto Last play feature.

• Implemented the screen saver for radio mode.

A DVB-S/CI Digital Satellite Receiver Application was developed for Decoding and display of DVB streams (with Conditional Access System Support) based on the specification from the Client with the following features.
