Using CR and DR Digital Radiography perform all radiographic

procedures to include C-Arm and routine examinations of chest

head trunk and extremities. Operate radiologic equipment;

support radiologists or other medical officers to produce

radiographic exams; receive and interpret requests or

instructions for procedures for emergent patients in-patients

and out-patients; secure the confidence and cooperation of

patients explain procedures; various procedures or position

to adjust for patients' medical conditions. Perform dark room

duties. Equipment used includes GE DR Toshiba CR digital

radiography systems and GE AMX4 portable xray machines. Using

the Toshiba Aquilion 16 and the3 GE Bright Speed sixteen slice

CT scanners; perform Computerized Tomographic (CT) examinations

of different anatomical parts of the body and vasculature such

as the brain liver spleen kidneys spine lungs and aorta.

Set up the CT room assuring those sterile supplies contrast

materials catheters and other requested equipment are

present. Set up CT injector for rapid bolus injections.

Prepare and administer contrast material under the general

supervision of the radiologist. Start IV lines and check for

potency prior to injecting contrast materials. Monitor

patients during and after the procedure inform physician if

changes in patients condition occur.Confer with radiologist to

establish requirements of nonstandard exams and determine

technical factors positioning number and thickness cut of

scans etc... to satisfy the requirements. Check medical

record and identify patient to insure correct examination and

all required documents are in order. Notify radiologist of

significant exams requiring their immediate attention while

patient is undergoing exam. Advise referring physician of

results of exams and provide them with a prelimenary

diagnostic evaluation. Recognize and report malfunctioning

equipment; clean and maintain equipment and area after use. I

also have experience GE Light Speed 8 Slice CT Scanner and

the Phillips PQ5000 Helical CT scanner with the Falcon software

package.
