Underwriter - Retail - FHLMC Seller/ servicer - Wholesale Correspondent with Countrywide and BBT. Rural Housing experience. ChoiceOne recently started our test cases with FHA. I do not have a CHUMS # but I did train for and underwrite FHA loans when I worked for Countrywide in 1997 - 1998 in their wholesale office on Sparks Drive, Grand Rapids. Won "Outstanding Branch Employee Award" from Countrywide in February 1998.
For most of my 8.5 years at ChoiceOne I have handled all pricing / rate sheets and locks / audits/ etc. I have also worked as a Loan Officer for the bank - taking, approving and closing consumer loans and Home Equitie loans. I have written program descriptions and worked with the mortgage loan officers to train them on new products. I have HMDA knowledge/ experience but not in reporting.
Previous underwriting jobs go back to 1986 with variouos mortgage banks and mortgage brokers - in NY until 1996 and since then in Michigan. I will gladly provide previous job information if needed.
