SUMMARY This project basically involves Capturing of Road network, Polygons (Water bodies, parks, Grounds etc) and Point of Interest for some of the selected Cities of India. Once the features are captured, the features will be attributed with the respective database. Once the data is created, it will be appended to the existing One India database and subsequently incorporated in to the Sat guide Navigation Device.

The major activities involved are:

Project # 1

Title : Navigation of Road lines’ Project.

(Working on GERMANY)

Client : A N D (Automotive Navigation Data)

Software Applied : AutoCAD2000i, Arc GIS

Project Description:

It’s a navigation project for various countries. It will be further used to launch new software in vehicles for guidance incase of new places.We follow certain specifications to digitize the maps of the provinces and it keeps varying according to the client’s need. We are given certain inputs and few tools to use for this navigation project.

My Role:

I am in the QC team. I have studied the working of various tools and documented the revised version of the specifications. I even took charge over a group of 5 to improve the quality and productivity of the project.

CLIENT : AND (AUTOMATIVE NAVIGATION DATA).

PROJECT NAME : AUSTRIA.

Project Summary : Capturing of different layers like roads, Railways and Forest sectors, Cemeteries, Water bodies,Airports etc.And we provide the database for required layers. And also provide the direction to roads.Finally we edge match and appending the data. In This project we use client supplied Auto machine Quality checking tools. And finally the captured data converted into shape file format.

APEX COVANTAGE TECHNOLOGIES LIMTED:

Project # 1

Project Title : SW Migration and Data clean up

Client : AT&T, USA.

Role : Production, data clean up

Software used : OptiNT, AutoCAD. , DMT, IMS.

Scope: The scope of the project is to migrate the south west data to the TA street network.

Inputs: PLR, DTL, UGM, CND drawings, seed file for transformation, individual PLR tiff’s, oracle spatial files, NERV data.

Outputs: Migrated / single mosaic wire center data aligned to TA street network seed file. It’s a telecom project and our customer is the US best brand AT&T. We deal with the cleaning of the database after work order posting. The entire project is divided into 4 parts and the final part is dealt by and this directly sent to the Clients place. It’s an online project where lot of careful measures is being taken up.

My Role: After 1 month of training and few test I was into the production and very soon I am into the QC team. I take the files that have been left as unsolved to resolve it.
