The following equipments & vehicles were under 'Break-Down' condition for want of major repairs prior to my joining the company.
Dynapac single drum roller
The OM 356 engine fitted to roller was found to have seized and the main line bore, crankshaft journals have worn out excessively.
As the imported engine was not readily available, fitted the ingeniously manufactured Kirloskar air cooled engine with some modifications and recommissioned the equipment.
Komatsu 605 Motor Grader was under 'Break Down' for several years and used as stores equipment by cannibalizing the spares required for other motor graders deployed in other sites. The Equipment was repaired by replacing few hydraulic spares and put it on Road Worthy condition.

Provided consultancy services for repairs heavy equipment & heavy vehicles. Worked as Surveyor/Loss assessor for accident vehicles accredited by the Government of India.
Extended support for identification of spare parts for CAT 3306 engines, 6FL 912 Deutz engines, and N743 cummins engines and rebuilding the same. Investigated the accident vehicles, prepared reports and forwarded to various insurance companies for settlement of claims.
