PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Systems Specialist, Fidessa Corporation, New York, NY May 2007 – August 2009
Desktop, remote access, and LAN support for a multi-site, international network including over 1000 client computers and notebooks running Windows XP and more than 50 Windows 2003 servers and Windows 2007 Virtual servers.
Provided desktop support to advanced level technology users including software developers, database administrators, and UNIX server administrators.
Managed a Blackberry Enterprise server with over 250 handheld users. Responsible for providing users with new devices, updating handheld software, troubleshooting hardware and software issues with the handhelds and responsible for liaising with multiple service providers regarding account issues.
Created new user accounts, computer accounts, e-mail accounts and security groups in Active Directory.
