ACADEMIC PROJECTS:-

• M.Sc -Project on the title: “Regeneration and Agrobacterium mediated Genetic transformation studies in Macrotyloma Uniflorum” from Plant molecular biology laboratory Osmania University.

Description: Worked on Legume plant explants, and co-cultivated with Agrobacterium tumefaciens with cefatoxime and further proceeded with GUS- assay which indicated blue color showing transgenic property of the tissue.

• INDUSTRIAL TRAINING:

Undergone Industrial training programme from BCIL (Biotech Consortium of India) , DBT at JUBILANT BIOSYS DISCOVERY CENTRE in DMPK for 8 months,(Jan - Aug-2011 ) Bangalore, Karnataka.

Project on the title: “Effect of piperine as an inhibitor for cytochrome P450 isoenzyme 3A4, 2D6, 2C9 and 2E1”.

Description: Worked on Invitro assays- particularly Cyp inhibition –and checked for effect of piperine inhibition on the metabolism of different isoenzymes at different time points.

POSTERS PRESENTED:-

• Participated in the National seminar and presented a poster held on the topic “Current scenario in Microbial Biotechnology" on 27th and 28th Feb,2008 held at KSR College of Technology, Tiruchengode, Erode, Tamilnadu.

• Participated in the National symposium on the topic "Perspectives of Genomics and Proteomics" in the field of Genetic diseases on 30th &31st January, 2009 held at Osmania University, Hyderabad.

ACHIEVEMENTS:-

Won Second Prize in the Poster Presentation Competition in the National Symposium at Osmania University.

• Participated in the Essay competitions held at Inter College Level and won the appreciations.

• Participated in the Science Talent Scholarship Exam held by NCERT at Hyderabad in the Inter School Level.
