EXPERIENCE:
2004 to 2010 – Superintendent of New Construction Products; Traction/Hydraulic Elevators
• Managed 3-7 two-person crews for the installation of various elevator products; including micro processor controlled hydraulic units, micro-processor controlled traction units, both wire rope and coated steel belt type systems. Projects varied from single units to eight unit systems that were installed in buildings of 2 to 26 stories.
• Ensured compliance with architectural and engineering requirements needed to ensure timely completion of installation, preventing jobs from exceeding sold budget restraints.
• Worked with sales personnel and owner’s representation to ensure contractor required provisions were clearly addressed, providing required structure(s) needed for installation of purchased units.
• Performed monthly job site safety audits, job hazard analysis, fatality prevention audits to ensure compliance with company and OSHA standards.
• Developed and maintained standard work processes (SWP) binder for hydraulic installation teams; providing bi-annual update of SWP’s, ensuring latest applied technology and procedures were being used for installation. This was one of the instrumental processes that helped produce a YOY improvement of holeless hydraulics unit install times by a margin of 10% or better.

• Supervised up to 12 mechanics on multiple routes that encompassed over 75 buildings and 600 elevators; for the routine maintenance per specific contract, owner generated service calls, regularly scheduled/emergency repairs, and personnel entrapment extractions.
