Deployed for two tours of combat in Afghanistan and Iraq where my unit conducted combat missions against enemy threats.
Mission details included patrols, key leader engagements, nighttime raids, C-IED operations, experience fighting IED networks, reconnaissance, and force protection.
Acting Platoon squad leader in Iraq where responsibilities included supervising 9 soldiers and their standard issue equipment.
Wrote situation reports on previous mission tasks and gave platoon sergeants updates on personnel status.
Conducted training for Host Nation Forces to include basic marksmanship and infantry tactics.
Performed written/verbal counseling and evaluations of soldiers' performance and training.
