Boiler Expansion Project

Position – QA/QC Manger: Responsible for setting up weld booths, administering weld tests, visually inspect and witness weld tests and visually inspect ongoing welding on the job per ASME Code Section IX B31.1 B31.3 on a daily basis, witness repair work, pressure tests, schedule x-rays, and complete all required documentation on a daily basis.

Lakehead Pipeline, Inc. – United Piping, Inc.

Duluth, MN

Position – Supervisor/QA: Responsible for a crew on pumping stations for Lakehead Pipeline, Inc. Duties included scheduling operators for excavation, electricians, insulators, welders, material deliveries, such as pipe and fittings, install and inspect welds and all necessary equipment for the job per API 1104 Code so it would pass inspection by third-party inspectors the first time to eliminate the need for any repair or rework to get the job done right and in a safe and timely manner, and complete all required documentation on a daily basis.

Tres Palacious Gas Storage Facility, LLC – EMS Quality Control

Clemville, TX

Position - CWI: Responsible for administering and the witnessing of weld tests and perform destructive testing for welder qualifications per API 1104 Code. Daily responsibilities included taking pictures of welds and equipment, visual inspection of all welds on job site, pressure tests, interpreting of random x-rays, schedule x-rays, reports, walk downs, and complete all required documentation.

Rocky Mountain Express Pipeline

Position - Certified Automatic Welder: Responsible for the welding of 42-inch natural gas pipeline per API 1104 Code and repairing imperfections of all machine welds before they were ultrasonic tested. This job was reported to have made history with a 2.4 percent repair rate; the lowest repair rate in pipeline automatic welding history.
