PROFILE: QA TESTER

Looking for a creative gaming company to put my overall years and gaming experience in to use. Overall 11 years of gaming and playing a diverse amount of games. This job would be a great opportunity for me and the company as I am very self motivated and love to play video games, also have done a lot of online play for console games and pc. I understand the responsibility of a QA game tester is to accurately analyze any defects or bugs in the game and then communicate to the instructor. This can take a great skill in Microsoft word and excel which I have. This will help the lead QA instructor understand and accurately describe the bug and to fix the problem.

GAME GENRE: BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF ALL GAME GENRES

• Shooter games- first person and 3rd person MMO-RPG

• Action games- from all shooters thinking and puzzle games shooters and classics to medieval

• Action adventure- from thinking to puzzle games and time based MMO action games, also long-term obstacles, simple puzzle solving and combat.

• Role playing- specific skill sets and melee and blunt attacks also casting spells to using magic, huge storylines and advanced thinking and strategy using skills. Maneuvering these characters using different types of combos buttons or keys

• Simulation- simulations may allow the player to experiment with genetics, survival or ecosystems. player acts as overall planner or leader to meet the needs and wants of game characters

• Strategy- focus on game play requiring careful and skillful thinking and planning in order to achieve goals or levels.

These are the basic understanding of game genres I have played and knowledge I have gained and can use towards the QA testing job in order to achieve and find bugs.

EXPERIENCE: SKILLS

Have many skills in written gaming evaluations on many different gaming communities. Great knowledge in video game expectations, making goals completing tasks and fulfilling the job in any manner. Skills in console hardware, and using all components that pertains to the hardware. Experience in many different video games, playing different genres of action games from halo 1 2 3 ODST and halo reach. Also playing games from all grand theft auto games 1-4 and all saints’ row games 1 and 2. Also played games from assassins creed 1 and 2 and brotherhood. Many MMO RPG games from elder scrolls oblivion and all fallout games also played games like Acherons call and age of Conan. Simulation games like all Sims games and also racing games from burnout to need for speed and midnight-club. All these games over a long based period have given me a great amount of skill and knowledge to be the right person for the testing job.

OTHER EXPERIENCE:

Experience in many other category’s that may pertain to the job. Skills in using Microsoft word and excel. Also skills in adobe flash player and using all these programs to do inventory checks for previous sales jobs, also was on a quota to make sales goals so I have the understanding on how to go by guide lines and following directions and instructions.
