Director, Americas Region Recruiting 2007 - 2008
My role was leading and developing recruiting strategy for the Americas Region - the US, Canada and Mexico.
- Transitioned the E-Commerce, Marketing & Product departments from San Francisco to Wake Forest, NC successfully filling 29 positions in just over 90 days.
- I developed a holiday recruiting strategy for the field organization that resulted in the lowest open positions in 10+ years going into the holiday season.
- Working with the VP’s in the Americas region, performed an operations review, gap analysis and found opportunities to increase bench strength. Based on this analysis prepared an annual staffing plan/strategy for 2008 projected needs.
- Successfully rolled out enterprise wide software skills assessment program, including developing and delivering training.

Headed the Sourcing, University Relations and Diversity Recruiting departments
- Created a high-tech recruiting team of Web savvy E-cruiters training them to source and compete for the exceptional top 10% talent pool.

H.R. Director - Global Employment 1997 – 2000
Responsible for candidate sourcing, recruiting, diversity, employee relations, retention, relocation, immigration issues and other staffing related activities worldwide. Managed remote staff in the U.S., Europe, Puerto Rico & Asia.
- Created specialized recruiting/diversity program for hard to fill field positions and decreased time to fill by over 50%, increased retention by 57% over time and increased number diverse new hires by 23%.
- Created a unique new hire orientation process, named "Orientation Express" that delivered a comprehensive, informative look at the company and was designed to help retain employees. Overall turnover percentage was lowered 3.3% in the first 3 quarters after initiation, 1st year turnover declined by 35%. Program duplicated for Europe.
- Designed and implemented RFP process for evaluation and choice of a new applicant tracking system, an on-site temporary help vendor, a relocation company and new ad agency.
- Created an employer of choice branding campaign for domestic recruiting. Researched and developed resources for European, South American and Asia Pacific recruiting.
- Personally recruited and screened all management candidates up to filling CFO position through networking.
- Conducted key re-engineering projects including Finance, Operations and Engineering initiatives.
