Property Book Team Chief/PBUSE DATA ENTRY:

Responsible for receiving and signing for property issued by the PBO on a Hand Receipt. The CHRH will report discrepancies between the issued hand receipt and the on hand quantity received, maintain the condition & physical security of issued equipment, conduct periodic physical inventories of the equipment (including Sensitive Items) in accordance with AR 710-2, issue equipment to Sub Hand Receipt Holders within the Unit, post transactions to the prime hand receipt and coordinate turn-in of equipment to the SSA

Directly responsible for accountability and visibility actions for a designated set of equipment. Responsible for the conduct of thorough and accurate inventories of designated equipment utilizing all appropriate authorized/required military manuals and supply catalogs in support of external (contractual mission) and internal (Government Furnished) equipment. Establishes and maintains equipment records and other documents using Standard Army Management Information Systems, Unit Supply - Enhanced (US-E) Standard Army Maintenance System - Enhanced (SAMS-E), and/or manual accounting records and reports when STAMIS or internet connectivity is unavailable. Establishes and maintains logistics documentation, accounting records, maintains supported unit information using ARIMS; perform asset adjustments, lateral transfers, and update authorizations on the property book, manage unit hand receipts, request replacement equipment items, creates and prints hand receipts, component listings, shortage annexes and other activity/register reports from PBUSE. Knowledgeable of standardized supply regulations, policies, and procedures and other applicable guidance relating to receipt and/or issue of stock or property items. Inspects equipment for cleanliness, and basic non-technical serviceability and provides proper documentation on approved/required military forms and records. Prepares equipment for issue including creation of proper military forms and records. Works under the supervision of a Property Book Team Chief/Master Supply Technician, and supervises assigned support personnel during issue, storage and receipt processes.
