Duties and Responsibilities
Manages quality assurance activities for all in-house GLP regulated activities.
Plans and conducts ISO/APEDA audits of BIS regulated third parties to assess compliance with all pertinent regulations as well as with company SOPs.
Works with the manager - QA to assure alignment and compliance with company Quality management System, support assessment of compliance and define metrics to determine performance objectives.
Works with lab staff and general manager to identify, evaluate, and recommend solutions to issues identified in the performance of APEDA/ISO audits.
Develop, implement and maintain a systematic method of auditing analytical results and directly supervise laboratory technicians, provide training and performance feedback.
Prepare clear and concise written reports of audit observations, including an assessment of compliance.
Assess adequacy of action plan. Conduct follow up activities as needed to monitor corrective actions.
Participate in internal and external meetings and working groups, assist with assigned projects.
Direct and conduct the testing and analysis of routine and special products, trials, etc. and provide effective reports to involved parties (management, vendors, customers, etc.).
Review laboratory, plant and production documents daily to assess the quality of products, determine that products meet customer specifications, and approve products for dispatch
Develop and validate testing methods used in routine analysis of incoming sample and finished products. Assist in writing validation protocol, project report, updating laboratory documentation, SOP and test methods
Provide technical support in the area of microbiology and chemistry to the manufacturing department.
Develop policies and procedures as needed and provide training to employees on HACCP, GMP’s, SSOP, GLP and related food safety topics.
Ensure availability and quality of water for plant and boiler.
Ensure working condition of jet hopper, agitator, valves, Desilter & desander, shakers and centrifuge.

8th month dissertation work on project entitled Bio-sorption of Copper and Nickel by metal resistant bacteria isolates from agricultural soil irrigated with wastewater under the kind supervision of Dr. Abdul Malik (Chairman) in the Department of Microbiology, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh (U.P), India.
