Scope: Working within Johnson and Johnson’s Medical Device & Diagnostic (MD&D) division responsible for ensuring quality and supply continuity of purchased finished goods; completing failure investigations for customer complaints; completing failure investigations for CAPA's and NCR's; completing validations to replace materials or components with limited supply; initiating and leading cost improvement projects; and accelerating growth through introduction of new products coming into the External Operations portfolio. Interacting and leading interdisciplinary teams representing all aspects of product development including Research & Development, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, Medical Affairs, and Marketing. Involved in multiple Cost & Process Improvement projects which enhance profitability and quality to both Ethicon’s business and products. Project/Process Engineer Six - Sigma, Software Engineering Center

Scope: Implemented various processes to develop improvements with regards to quality, cost reduction, cycle time reduction, safety, and process stability. Member of the PEG (Process Engineering Group) involved in project development meeting the needs of the Organization in respect to CMMI and Six-Sigma standards.

Recognition: Process enhancement excellence reduced product defect rates and increased thru-put of software development saving the Government over $500k.

Technical Leadership:

• Implemented Six-Sigma DFSS & DMAIC Process Strategies to meet Organizational continual process improvement standards.

Scope: Lead Engineer involved in the design and development of an R&D RDX based crystallizer. Performed key tasks with interfacing the crystallizer to PLC technology to Real-Time control software resulting in an optimized chemical formulation yielding better performance and cost.

Recognition: Received two Excellence awards from 4 star Generals for my work accomplishments. Also received a U.S. Patent (Patent # 200********) for my process designs to optimize the development of a chemical formulation.

Technical Leadership:

• Made significant contributions to the development of the Army’s Model Based Control System which gave the Army a unique and powerful tool. This tool interfaces with Siemens and Alan Bradley PLC’s.

• Developed several patent pending programs and methodologies for the Army’s Model Based Control system which is setting a new standard in Machine Tool Technology.

• Delivered design and architecture support for the MBC .NET web services integration by developing online training systems.

• Developed and integrated process control models for a chemical crystallization process, which yielded the desired RDX compilation for various weapon systems.
