WORK EXPERIENCE

Tool & Die Maker

 Responsible for die repair on large and small high speed Progressive Dies and secondary dies. Also responsible for trouble shooting any production problems throughout the plant, rolling mills, benders, robotic welders, saws, and all assembly equipment.

2000 – 2002 Mic-Rite Machine Tool & Die, Inc. Port Huron, Michigan

Tool & Die Maker

 Responsible for building all types of dies, special machines, bend tooling, die repair and prototype work. Set-up and bend round and square tubing on Pines Bender. Responsible for all press shop and tube shop production. Also helped implement ISO 9002 standards with continuing improvement.

1994 – 2000 Metal Fab Corporation Ormond Beach, Florida

Tool & Die Maker

 Responsible for the machining of dies, weld clamp maintenance, weld fixtures, as well as building weld stations from the ground up. Also responsible for the troubleshooting of manufacturing problems.

 Responsible for building form dies, progressive dies, pierce and trim dies and maintaining all production dies and tooling.

 Responsible for building all fixtures and tooling for CNC production machining and all quality control gauges with very close tolerances. Building test firing fixtures and small production dies, along with other production tooling.

 Responsible for build, machine and try-out, from blue print of dies, fixtures, special machines and prototype work. This included draw dies, trim dies, progressive dies, special purpose welding machines and complete tool maintenance.
