Duties/Responsibilities:
Make help the enterprises to be complaint as per law of land as well as BEPZA Instructions-1&2 ;
Provide proper counselling , referral and protection services to workers presenting themselves at the zone office and maintain its record in register;
Conduct counseling session to minimize the workers grievances and their disputes ;
Daily & Monthly report formation describing irregularities of enterprises in EPZ;
Help in ensuring harmonious relation as well as enhancing its image between management and Workers Representation and Welfare Committee (WRWC) through organize awareness program on health& hygiene, personal safety, new enacted law as well as Workers Rights;
Review and administer the company Policy and Procedures.
Monitor appropriate implementation of the disciplinary codes, appraisal system and implementation of salary reviews and assessment.
Monitor 10 companies with their complaince issues as per Local labor Laws. Such as-
Service records, leave & holidays, minimum wages and other facilities, provident fund, overtime compensation and correspondent with factory management about workers grievances, health and safety, environment requirements, discipline and grievance handling, enquiry procedure, termination/dismissal/retrenchment/discharge/resignation of service, and to ensure proper working environment in the factory premises.
Coordinate with security forces, journalist, local police station and different authorities when labour unrest occurred.
Ensure to improve workers morale through creating awareness on their rights & responsibilities.
To check and verify work permit related papers for work permit Issue/Renew/ Cancellation/Duplicate issue etc.
Achieved any other task assigned by the General Manager or his designate.
