I am writing to put in a good word for Anna Romanovich. I worked with Anna for about three years at ALM Research, first hiring Anna to help me in my role as Operations Manager. At first, Anna's role was primarily analytic and administrative: she gathered and processed our data and uploaded it to our database.
Quickly, though, Anna showed her absolute zeal for learning new things and taking on more responsibility. She taught herself SQL, advanced data analytics, and other technical skills, and she also developed as a project manager, coordinating our offshore team and liaising with Alacra, our vendor partners. After a short time it was clear that Anna could take on the responsibility of managing the department's operations herself, as I transitioned to another role.
She managed multiple projects and surveys, came up with ideas for website improvements and new product ideas, and drove those innovations through to completion.
In addition to her insatiable appetite for learning, there are a couple of other things that I find particularly exceptional about Anna. First, she is one of the most energetic and positive people I've ever worked with. She has an infectious enthusiasm that makes the workplace a much more dynamic and fun place to be. Second, she has something that is rare in my experience, which is the ability to be equally comfortable managing detail and crafting a high-level process overview. Perhaps because of her outgoing personality, she seems to have a natural desire to share what she's learned with others, and because she's so good at documenting her progress, it becomes that much easier to operationalize whatever task she's involved with so that the next new challenge can be met.
I left ALM nearly two years ago, but I still miss Anna! I'm sure she would be a great addition to your team, and I wish you and your colleagues continued success.
Best,

I think you are not only great at managing projects, but have good insight and creativity into helping to develop new products. You are also a very meticulous person, which ultimately translates into very good data quality because you understand it from both the front-end and the back-end. In other words - you have both the big picture, as well as the picture under the microscope. Plus, I think you are very personable and work well with everyone on your team, but mature enough to be a leader/manager.
