SAP FI Development Tasks

Set up Posting Periods, Payment Terms, Authorizations and default values for typical business transactions including Cross-Company Code transactions. Set up parameters for Clearing Open Items, Processing Incoming/Outgoing Payments, Currency Exchange differences and Document Reversals. Set up Output types specific to GM, Ford and Toyota.

Involved in testing of Automatic Payment Program and related Bank and Payment Medium configuration. SAP FICO, PTP and OTC Test Automation Project

The Scope of the Project is to define the Process and design Tools enabling regular conduct of Automated Regression Test. Initiated and successfully completed the Project using PMI methodology.

Organized meetings with Dev Leads, Power Users and Business Leads for Identifying the (a) critical and (b) unique Business Processes in SAP FI, CO, PTP, OTC functional areas for each Business Unit of Delphi. Constituted the Test Automation Offshore Team; provided leadership and expertise and successfully

delivered 65 automated scripts that can be used for conducting Regression Test during Integration Test Phase for all SAP Projects

This is a Project initiated by the FI team at Delphi World Headquarters for understanding more about the financial stability of its global vendors and possible risks involved in dealing with them. Worked towards a Process involving D&B System, SAP and other Tools for data input, analysis and triggering Alerts when a Supplier is in potential financial risk zone, per pre-defined parameters.

CMMI Certification Project for SAP FI, BI, SEM Dev Team:

As a Lead member in the team constituted for initiating CMMI methodology to the key processes surrounding software development, implementation and support roles in SAP FI, BI and SEM Development Teams. development and is expected to replace the existing mainframe system by the end of 2000 year in Aruba, Canada, Portorieco, and USA. Involved in automation of business transactions covering Applicant’s Profile; Accounts; Auto, Credit Card, Home-Equity loans processing; Funding and monitoring different loan accounts.

Project-2: Wells Fargo Executive Information System (Release 1.3)

Duration: Nov 1998 to June 1999

EIS is a System developed for the exclusive use of client’s Branch, Division and Regional level executives. Release 1.0 was already in use and Release 1.3 has four modules and was being designed as one of the sub-systems of SAPPHIRE.

Analyzed Business Requirements; conducted Design walkthrough of Executive Information System (EIS). Developed Test Cases, coordinated functional testing and User Acceptance Testing for the business scenarios in Profile, Quality and Revenue modules of the system.
