Vocational Nurse Clinical Instructor - Instructing students on nursing skills. Instruct time management for floor nursing, how to relate disease process with medication, labs, procedures and diet. Follow students with medication pass and nursing procedures.

Alliance Care Home Health: (06’)

Director of Nurses – JACHO standards / compliance. Quality assurance / Quality management. Records management. Reviewed SN, PT, OT, aide notes for billing. Schedules for nurses and CNA’s. Marketing. (all 4 West Texas offices were closed).

Home Hospice (04’-06’)

RN case manager. Teaching on disease and dying process as well as pain management. Admissions, recerts, discharges and deaths. Chart audits and keeping charts current. Good communication with doctors, patients, families and IDT team. Marketing. Public / community relations. CHAP survey standards / compliance.

Hospice of Midland (01’-04’)

Field nurse/Continuous care nurse. Provided teaching on pain medication, dying process and getting patient and family settled in from transfer.

-Prime staff (99’-01’)

PRN staff at Midland Memorial and Covenant in Lubbock. Worked on med surg, ortho, nero and oncology.

-Martin County Home Health (96’- 99’)

Field nurse. Did some private billing and time sheets.

-Big Spring State Hospital (6 months) (95-96) Geriatric medical unit.
