Present Professional Experience

Working as an Assistant Librarian at JSS Academy of Technical Education, Noida. Since 28th August 2000. My present work profile is as mentioned below.

1. Involved in planning, maintaining, organizing and developing the library system.

2. Managing, organizing, and maintaining materials & equipments

3. Cataloguing & classification of Books, Journals and CD ROMs

4. Ordering, receiving, cataloguing and displaying new materials

including CD ROMs, books, journals and other research materials

5. Assist Students, teachers & researcher in identifying potential

information sources.

6. Regularly update on book reviews, publisher's catalogues and

researches other information sources to identify materials to meet user

needs, enrich the library's collections.

7. Identification of news reports on development issues and maintains

news clipping of the same.

8. Prepares statistical reports of library operations and use.

9. Continuously develops a strong knowledge of the library collection and

materials, its strengths and weaknesses and how to find items using the best access

methods in assigned areas.
