Enhance and support in-house developed managed file transfer system Network Data Transfer 2 (NDT2). Enhance and support in-house developed Workflow Management System Utility Datasets (UDS). Created, enhanced, and support TIBCO Enterprise Message System interface for IBM z/OS mainframe application developers. J C Penney is transitioning from NDT2 to IBM Sterling’s Connect:Direct and as a result I am in the process of rewriting UDS to interface with Connect:Direct as its file transfer vehicle. Developed tool set (EMSHNDLR) to be used by application programmers so they may easily interact with z/OS TIBCO client. This has been in wide use for over two years and has never had a trouble ticket.

Worked with the U.S. Navy identifying and remediating hazardous material waste areas at twenty-eight different Naval installations located in Southern California.

Managed the automation effort for acquiring, organizing, and maintaining the Northrop Aircraft Division’s data on its use of hazardous materials. My organization developed the first automated Hazardous Material Tracking System in the United States. This system supported the reporting requirements at the Federal, Regional, State, and Local levels.
